Alkanet root (Alkanna tinctoria) is rich in alkannin compounds, it offers gentle anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects that can soothe irritated skin and reduce redness. Alkanet supports skin healing and may aid in fading minor blemishes and evening tone when combined with other nourishing ingredients. Its deep red pigment also provides a natural tint in soaps.
Eucalyptus offers several skin benefits its a natural antiseptic and its antimicrobial properties help cleanse pores and reduce surface bacteria, which can be useful for acne prone skin. Eucalyptus also provides a cooling, soothing sensation that can relieve irritation, redness, and minor itching. Additionally, its anti-inflammatory compounds may help reduce swelling and promote faster recovery of minor skin irritations.
